So, looking back I've realised that I've been quite busy climbing in Squamish this summer already. I got the 50 Classic Squamish Climbs poster last year and I have a determination to climb most of them. Here is a selection of fun climbs Julie, Jorge and I were climbing.

Jorge (tiny at the top) leading the 2nd pitch of Centerforld, Papoose. That bulge at the top is a tricky 10b finger crack/roof problem. Jorge blew his foot once and a guy leading behind us fell backwards onto the ledge below. Auch!

Jorge taught us new multi-people climbing techniques - is there a technical name for this? - and Julie and I could stop laughing at this ginormous figure eight knot.

Julie took some great pics again. I'm leading Pleasant Pheasant on Pet Wall, Murrin.

This is Little Testis, Up Among the Fir, Murrin. It's a mini mirror image Split Pillar. Julie is laybacking it now but Jorge told us to climb in the crack.

So I do as he say as I lead it. Julie hung out at the top.

This is Julie following the 10c finger pitch on Peasant Route, Grand Wall.

This is Power Windows, Penny Lane, apparently an 11b/c climb. I don't think so. 11a maybe. It had a tricky slab section.

Ah, I love climbing. There are more pics and comments here:

Sexy thread title. Sensuous trad routes. I give this TR a score of 69.
