Primus Peak, Borealis Glacier from Thunder Creek, Jun 13-14

All's I know is Primus and Tricouni are big motherfuckers when accessed from Thunder Creek. Davide and I hiked in to a camp at McAllister Creek. The next day was 6,600' vert to the summit of Primus via the east ridge, 4k' of which was on snow. Oof.
Loads of clouds and precip during the previous days had the snow in a state of May-like isothermal death slurpee. Nothing quite like starting point releases on the summit which result in massive wet avalanches that thunder as they hit the valley below minutes later. But anyway....
Skiing was fun, the setting spectacular, the exit hike tiring, McDonalds in Burlington at 1am delicious. Word.
